Trivia[]

  • Despite this episode being titled "Two of a Kind", the chapter of the same name is not covered in this episode, instead being featured in the next episode.
  • Nagi and Kousei play a Japanese traditional kids' game called "Glico" (a form of weighted Rock-Paper-Scissors).
    • In Japan, it is called Jankenpon.
    • It is played starting at the bottom of a flight of stairs, and the goal is to get to the top first.
    • Players can climb up steps by winning rounds of Rock-Paper-Scissors. But the number of steps depends on the winning hand in each round:
      • A player who wins with “Rock” gets to climb up three steps by spelling out G-l-i-c-o.
      • A player who wins with “Paper” gets to climb up six steps by spelling out P-i-n-e-a-p-p-l-e.
      • A player who wins with “Scissors” gets to climb up six steps by spelling out C-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e.
  • After the end credits there is an image of the scene where Kousei and Kaori are riding a bicycle at night. In that image there is a message that that states "It is illegal for two people to ride a bicycle", maybe regarding some actual laws in Japan.
